Seaview Café, situated on tranquil Mersea Island opposite the beach and the pastel coloured beach huts of Seaview Holiday Park, has been run by Melanie and Jason since March 2012. They have made numerous improvements to both the interior décor and menu, resulting in a light, bright and cosy environment where all are welcome…
A stay at the seaside is never complete without two of the most traditional English specialities, so why not pay us a visit to enjoy a hearty breakfast or for lunch a platter of our hand battered Cod and chips with homemade Tartare sauce.
As part of our commitment to using locally sourced produce where possible, the breakfast meat and burgers are supplied by Cocks Butchers of Mersea and fresh bread delivered daily by a local Bakery. For a sweet treat we have homemade cakes baked by a lady in the local village and cream teas with Clotted cream for the ultimate afternoon treat.
There is indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy a selection of freshly ground Lavazza coffees, a choice of freshly blended fruit smoothies or why not try a Mersea Mooshake! A full children’s and takeaway menu is available to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Open year round, with the exception of Christmas Day , Melanie and Jason look forward to welcoming you there very soon.
